Centre Hall hosts annual community-wide yard sale this weekend

CENTRE HALL, Pa (WJAC) — The annual Centre Hall community-wide yard sale kicked off Friday morning.

More than a hundred families and vendors set up yard sales throughout the borough, offering antiques, clothing, furniture, children's games and food.

Organizers say the annual event has brought the community together since the early 1980's.

"This is a big family reunion. You see the same people every year, they look for the same thing or you might know what they need or what they're looking for. It gives people some reason to be outside and it’s something to look forward to."

The yard sale continues on Saturday.
