State police in Lewistown say the man accused of crashing into a Mifflin County home Thursday morning, and then fleeing the scene, has been taken into custody.

Troopers say Alrick Manning Jr. was arrested on charges of aggravated assault.

State police have released the identity of the suspect accused of crashing into a home in Menno Township Thursday morning and then fleeing the scene.

Police say Alrick Manning Jr. is alleged to have brandished a gun, after the crash, prompting a heavy police presence to be dispatched.

Authorities say charges of aggravated assault have been filed against Manning and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

State police in Lewistown say authorities are searching for a man who allegedly crashed into a home in Menno Township Thursday morning.

Troopers say the suspect, described as a black male, reportedly brandished a handgun before fleeing the crash scene.

Investigators say the incident prompted authorities to issue a "shelter in place' for nearby residents and Main Street (Route 655) was closed for several hours.
