Tabitha Buck, convicted at 17 in Lancaster County murder, released from prison

LANCASTER COUNTY — Tabitha Buck, the Lancaster County woman who was convicted at the age of 17 in the murder of a 16-year-old decades ago has been released from prison.
According to the Department of Corrections, Buck, now 45, was released on Dec. 21, 2019.
Buck, 45, was re-sentenced to 28 years to life in November 2017. In August 2019, the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole granted her parole.
Buck was 17 years old when she and Lisa Michelle Lambert killed 16-year-old Laurie Show in East Lampeter Township.
According to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, Buck gave Lambert a knife and held Show's legs down while Lambert slit her throat.
Buck has maintained her innocence since the murder happened.
As part of her terms of release, Buck, cannot live or work in Lancaster County, must avoid any contact with Show’s family and must take psychiatric medication as prescribed by her doctor.
