Altoona church holds first food bank distribution

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — The Second Avenue United Methodist Church in Altoona hosted its first food bank distribution Friday.
The center was open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organizers estimated that they served 150 people.
They said between 20 to 25 people from the church were on hand to help with the distribution.

The next distribution date is Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those picking up food need to bring a photo ID and a piece of mail showing their address.
